Burke E. Strunsky, the co-founder of The Humanity of Justice Foundation and author of The Humanity of Justice: Lighting Even The Darkest Path of Justice, is a senior deputy district attorney working in Riverside County.

Strunsky’s office has one of the highest conviction rates in California, is the fourth largest in the state, and the fifteenth largest in the nation. Sturnsky specializes in homicide cases and crimes against children. His tenacious work ethic and impassioned attitude in the pursuit of sexual predators and murderers have earned him great respect and recognition in his field. In 2008 and 2011, the author was named Prosecutor of the Year for the county. He has led the prosecutions of defendants in countless extraordinary and high profile criminal cases. His trials have been featured on national TV programs including Dateline and 20/20.
